Howell's Dried Florals

See 5 beautiful acres of flowers growing at Howell's Dried Florals and Greenhouse in Cumming, Iowa, just south of Des Moines. About 25 years ago, we started growing flowers specifically for dried floral arrangements, selecting just the right plants that would result in beautiful, colorful blossoms when naturally air dried.

Today, we grow 5 acres of flowers, preserved foliages, and ornamental grains, and offer these beautiful plants for home and retail decoration.

Around June, we begin cutting the flowers. They are then taken to our drying barn, an impressive structure that measures 95 feet by 40 feet, built in 1910.
